Q: Do you have a catalog?
A: We do not publish a print catalog at this time because we are an Internet Marketing company, not an “all-media” marketer. The main reason we can
offer quality products like the Heavybilt at such low prices is because our costs are lower than the mail order catalogs. We choose to focus on the website because
it is an efficient, relatively inexpensive medium. We can also make instantaneous changes, in price, for example... with a catalog, a whole new one would have to be
published for the changes to be relayed to customers. Enough people have requested one, however, that we will be looking into printing up-to-date information from our
website.

Q: Why don’t you have a telephone number?
A:
A good question. The simple answer is, we encourage customers to use email for inquiries, questions, feedback on our products, issues about orders and delivery, problems with products, etc., because this way both parties have the communication in writing. Having access to all questions, answers, statements, quotations, etc., provides a record in black and white for future reference. Telephone questions and answers are not recorded, and therefore cannot be referenced as documentation in the future, should a misunderstanding arise. Also, no one’s memory is perfect. Information given or taken by phone can quickly be forgotten or misconstrued on both ends. We therefore prefer email for communicating with customers. If you absolutely must speak to someone by phone, just email us with your phone number and we will call you back.

Q: Do you add street numbers and addresses to mailboxes?
A: Yes, we have had many requests for adding street names and addresses to mailboxes. We researched the best way to offer numbers and street names, and have
concluded the state-of-the-art method would be digitally generated High Performance Vinyl decals, which have a rated use of 7 years. As this material was designed for use
on cars, trucks, buses, and highway signs, it will probably have a longer life than 7 years on a mailbox. This is the material recommended for use on all kinds of vehicles and highway signage. Click Here to find out more about adding street addresses to your mailbox.

Q: Why should I feel okay about giving out my credit card over the Internet?
A: We use a Secure Server for incoming orders. The information which you transmit when you submit an order is encrypted much as highly sensitive military and government
communications are encrypted for optimum security. With this level of security, it may actually be safer to transmit credit card information through a Secure Server over the Internet
than to place an order over the telephone. In fact, there is not a single case on record where a credit card number was intercepted en route to an online merchant. For a
very thorough, excellent article on this subject, read The Truth About Internet Fraud, which we have reproduced from
ZDNet's Smart Business. One advantage of doing business with a small company like ours is we don't have to use
large computer storage for customer information. We belong to the Better Business Bureau, and one of their requirements of members is implementation of a Privacy Policy which is posted at our site. We do not give out personal information of any kind about customers to other parties, in any way, shape or form.
If you are still uncomfortable with transmitting credit card information over our Secure Server, we have offered the options of faxing your order to our fax number (513) 732-3509; or you
can mail in your order by printing out the mail/fax form.

Q: How long will it take to receive my mailbox and/or post?
A: Your order is processed as soon as it is received. Heavybilt Mailbox products and Posts ship on average from the factory in Huron, Ohio, in
about two weeks. Sometimes orders ship within a few days, sometimes orders take longer than two weeks. Please be patient. All orders are shipped on
an ASAP basis.
Some Heavybilt Products at our Steel Mailbox Co. Get A Deal page ship from our
warehouse in Batavia, Ohio. These usually ship within one to three business days, unless addressing is requested for installation. Allow an additional
week for addressing on these mailboxes.

Q: I just had my mailbox destroyed by vandals. Will you ship me a Heavybilt RIGHT NOW?
A: As long as we have the mailbox you want in stock it will be shipped by UPS Ground on the day of or the following business day after receiving your order. If your
need is urgent, we can ship using more immediate options via UPS or FedEx; however these options are more costly given the nature of heavy steel mailboxes. UPS will not
ship to residential addresses on Saturdays, only to commercial ones. FedEx will deliver to residential addresses on Saturdays. Email us for details on FedEx shipping.

Q: I live in a foreign country and there are no mailboxes like the Heavybilt available here. Can you ship a mailbox to me in {Japan, England, Argentina, etc.}?
A: Again, these products are very heavy. Shipping them outside the United States would be very expensive. We can send you one, but be prepared for a very high
shipping cost. The most affordable way we have found is by U.S. Mail Surface. For example, a small Heavybilt to Australia costs around $50 and would take around 4
weeks. At the present time we are only accepting payment by check or money order in U.S. Dollars for foreign orders.

Q: I thought my Heavybilt was supposed to be guaranteed against damage by vandals...they beat and beat my Heavybilt until it got dented and now I can’t open the
door. I am in trouble with my wife because of this. Will you send me a new one?
A: Sorry, we can’t be responsible for what determined vandals might come up with. Heavybilt Mailboxes have a lifetime guarantee on materials and
workmanship. This means if a weld fails, or the paint chips off without external influences, the mailbox is guaranteed. It is NOT guaranteed against acts of
vandalism. The Heavybilt is vandal resistant, not vandal proof. No one makes a vandal proof mailbox.* The Heavybilt will withstand blows from a baseball bat as a result of typical mailbox vandalism. If vandals are determined, however, they can bang away for hours on end, or bring in a cutting torch or sledge hammer if they are ambitious. It is reasonable to expect at least some damage from determined efforts by vandals.
We are instituting a new program for current customers
whose Heavybilt Mailboxes have been rendered non-functional by determined vandals. This is an unlikely
occurrence, but once in a while it does happen. We will replace your mailbox, in such a circumstance, for the wholesale price of the mailbox,
plus shipping and any sales tax that might apply (Ohio only). We do ask that you supply photographs of the damaged mailbox as documentation of this damage.
*{Note: There actually is a vandal-resistant mailbox guard called VandalGard which has a lifetime warranty against acts of vandalism, but
not damage from motor vehicles. This is offered for sale at our other site, Steelmailbox.com}
